Catherine Ladd is a London based Designer & Stylist working in Stills, Commercials and Theatre.

Catherine began her career working for fashion icons Vivienne Westwood and milliner Stephen Jones before working on films Batman Begins and Harry Potter, she then joined Oscar winning Costume Designer Eiko Ishioka as her Design Assistant and went on to work at The National Theatre and The Royal Opera House.

She now works across creative mediums, combining a theatrical flair with contemporary design and styling, working on campaigns with The National Theatre to create their advertising stills and moving image to commercials requiring large scale costume props and bespoke makes.

Her creative eye, eclectic experience and expertise combined with an extensive period costume knowledge has led her to work internationally with artistic companies including 59 Productions and photographers Jason Bell and PEROU. She loves the challenge of working on large scale productions, understanding the complexities of costuming multiple characters and working within budgets.

Catherines work combines her love of creating striking costumes and visual detailing with a passion for contemporary styling and design.
